The U.S Army All-American Bowl is a popular high-school football game. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is a property of SportsLink Inc., which is a sports marketing company. Sportslink Inc. manages and produces events and creates targeted sponsorship opportunities for numerous companies looking for better marketing arenas. Through the U.S Army All-American Bowl, the army helps shape its future leaders. The U.S Army All-American Bowl does this by allowing the students to display their extraordinary skills in the athletics. The selection for the event is vital for the students who have wonderful talents in athletics and music. These young people represent the future army strong soldier, showcasing it through honor, integrity, personal courage, loyalty, duty, selfless service and with due respect. During the weekly events, the students get a good understanding of what it takes to be an Army soldier, from the heroes of the Army. The U.S Army All-American Bowl has its own history and popularity as it features the top players in the football and the music field.
The U.S Army All-American Bowl is generally held in the U.S state of Texas, in January. It started in 2000 and is the bowling game is now held inside the Alamodome in San Antonio. The games in 2007 witnessed an attendance of more than 35,000, the first show in 2000 saw only 6000. The U.S Army All-American Bowl is not just a football game, but rather an event to honor the future American heroes and the festival of high school football. Events such as U.S Army Strong Zone encourages public to participate in the events, and have some recreational events, food-booths, games, music and many others. There will be interactive sessions with the former heroes during the events to know about the life of a soldier in the army. These events are sometimes sponsored by big and reputed companies like Reebok, Russell athletic, Adams USA, NBC sports, Ball park and others.
The U.S Army All-American Bowl also has some future promising musicians performing at the events. They usually perform during the half-times. Some of the Leading high schoolers good at playing different instruments will be honored during the event based not only on their musical accomplishments but also on their leadership abilities, impressive academics, social service, values, honesty, personal courage and others. The event awards these marching musicians for the instruments they play such as Trumpet, Clarinet, Mellophone, Piccolo, Euphonium, Bass drums, Alto Sax among others. The U.S Army All-American Marching Band is a top-most honor for their talents.
The U.S Army All-American Bowl provides a platform for the students to become famous and many of them went on to become college and even National Football League (NFL) stars. As a matter of fact, in the seven year history of the U.S Army All-American Bowl, There were an astounding 63 players in the NFL from the U.S Army All-American Bowl. With the number of players increasing, the U.S Army All-American Bowl event in the 2008 would be a highly anticipated event.
